They slow down and finally stop as you nail the pitch. In Sweep mode, the LEDS sweep left or right indicating whether you're flat or sharp. Planet Waves has built in all the extras to make this tuner and metronome a full-featured training tool. These include a pitch pipe, timer, stopwatch, and a very capable metronome that generates a musical woodblock tone and has programmable beats per measure, beat subdivisions, and a handy tap-tempo function for locking in to a beat. A condenser mic, 1/4" I/O, Copy Pitch feature that adapts to various instruments, and extended 415Hz to 466Hz calibration let you tune pretty much any instrument while a 1/8" headphone jack enables quiet practice. A retractable easel positions the unit for best visibility.
Microphones and Stands
At some point an electric guitarist will need to mic their amp up. Maybe their amp isn't loud enough and needs some help from the band or venue PA. Conversely maybe it's too loud and is easier to handle on stage at a lower volume. Or they just want to record the amp quickly. There are better and more expensive mics than the Shure SM57, but it's such a standard, it makes sense to go with that one. It will also doubles as a rough-and-ready vocal mic in a pinch.

Radial X-Amp Active Reamplifier
The Radial X-Amp Active Reamplifier presents the engineer/producer/guitarist with an innovative and creative tool that allows a prerecorded track from a line level device to drive 2 guitar amplifiers or effect pedals simultaneously. The X-Amp employs a unique Class-A circuit design that has been optimized for use with guitars. Using the X-Amp is easy: One would, for instance, record a dry track using a high-quality direct box, then send this track from the recorder to the X-amp and then to either guitar amps, effect pedals or combinations thereof.Recording using the X-Amp has many benefits: once the basic track has been recorded, replacing or adding tracks can be done well after the session player has gone home. This eliminates tiresome repetition and assures a fresh vibrant performance on the final recording. Furthermore, by driving 2 amps at the same time, new sounds and textures can be created allowing the engineer—producer to make artistic decisions as the recording progresses. Features include balanced line level input with LED peak indicator and level control, Class-A circuit topology for optimal reach and frequency response, direct and isolated guitar amplifier outputs, 180° polarity reverse to bring both amps into phase, and dual ground lift options for noise-free operation.Built like a tank to provide years of trouble-free performance, the Radial X-Amp boasts a welded I-beam internal skeleton with a separate housing for maximum protection of the circuit board. The outside bookend cover provides a protective zone for the switches, potentiometer, and connectors. A full bottom no-slip pad performs double duty by keeping the X-Amp from sliding around when placed on a vibrating amplifier while also providing electrical and mechanical isolation.

GHS Gorgomyte Fret and Fingerboard Cleaning and Conditioning Cloth
The GHS Gorgomyte Fret and Fingerboard Cleaning and Conditioning Cloth works on both your frets and your fingerboard. Developed by world-renowned guitar tech Jimmy Johnson, the Gorgomyte cloth is used by professional guitar techs everywhere! Here's how to maximize your use of Gorgomyte Cleaning Cloths: cut the two polishing cloths into 2" squares. Use one square for the entire neck. Store the remaining squares in the resealable bag for future cleaning and conditioning. The frets and fingerboard of your guitar get more hands-on use, and often abuse, than any other area of the instrument. The fine wood gets gummed up with finger oils and dirt. The frets collect these impurities too, making them dull and less than smooth.Yet, this is the one area we seem to neglect when it's cleanup time. The reason is that it has always been a messy, delicate and time-consuming job.
